Following the untimely passing of Mme Yvonne Mantoa Khotleng-Khoza, the Executive Committee of NAFSA has extended a condolence message to Dr. Khoza Irvin Khoza and his family and called on all football loyalists as well as the football fraternity, to give Mme Mantoa Khoza a decent send-off.
Mme Mantoa Khoza will be laid to rest at Westpark Cemetery on Saturday 25 while funeral proceedings are scheduled to take place at Orlando Holy Cross Anglican Church in Orlando West from 08h00 to 11h00.
“We wish to call on all football loyalists and the football fraternity in its entirety, to honour Mme Mantoa, by coming out in numbers and bid her a dignified farewell. A football activist and supporter in her own right, Mme Khoza worked behind the scenes in supporting the cause of football loyalists. She never sought recognition or lime light for the support of the cause of football, yet she made her contribution as the Mother of this beautiful game. We hope that God Almighty will afford Chairman Khoza, the requisite potency to overcome the grief of losing his wife and a dearest friend of football. May her soul rest in ertenal power and rise glory, ” said NAFSA General Secretary, Siyabulela Makunga.
For those who wish to pay homage to the bereaved Khoza family, there will be daily prayer services which will be held at home (No. 1731 Modiba Street in Dube, Soweto) from Monday 20 January to Friday 24 January between 18h00 and 19h00.
